Milford On Sea

Milford on Sea u3a, established in 2012, now has over 400 members. There is no age restriction, you just need to be no longer in full time employment, and have the time to join a group or come to our monthly meetings. The monthly meetings are on the first Tuesday afternoon of every month, in the Bridge, (Milford on Sea’s Community Centre) in Sea Road.

We have entertaining guest speakers and information about what we do. Click the link or use the ‘Events‘ button above for more details. If you are thinking of joining, and would like to attend a monthly meeting, please contact our Secretary through the contact page and we will arrange it for you.

New Members

New Members are always welcome; see the Membership page for details.

We come under the umbrella of The Third Age Trust, but each local u3a operates in its own way. You can see interesting articles about what we do by looking at past editions of our Newsletter. You can also find us on Facebook, where we have a page, and a private group for members.

There are also active u3as in the neighbouring towns of Lymington and New Milton.

Our Groups

We have over 60 groups covering a wide range of interests, as well as social activities. Members are welcome to join as many groups as they like, subject to space. Many of our groups have room for new members and we set up new groups when enough people are interested. All our groups are run by the members themselves. No one needs a qualification to run a group, just the enthusiasm to get things going. To see more about our groups, click here Group or the group button above.
