Welcome to the Cycling Group.

Our group cycles together for enjoyment and exercise. New members are welcome! All rides aim to finish by lunchtime.

Most rides will be no more than 10-12 miles and mainly on cycle tracks and through the New Forest (especially in Summer) and quiet country roads, with a mid-ride stop off at a pub or cafe. As some rides will not necessarily begin in Milford, members will need to be able to transport their bike if they can't cycle to the starting point.

Members will take it in turns to arrange monthly rides and group members will in general be contacted via WhatsApp WHATSAPP title - Milford U3A Cycling.

The current programme of rides for 2025 is given below. It will be updated as further details become available. We envisage that weather permitting rides will be arranged for most of the dates.

• Norleywood to Bucklers Hard
• Exbury to Calshott
• Brockenhurst to Lyndhurst

Departure times are in general 10:30 from the starting point.

Our u3a activities are risk assessed. If you take part in any group activity you must read the risk assessment.
Members taking part in physical activities are reminded that they do so at their own risk.
