The Samba Canasta group (formerly known as Canasta 3) is aimed at members who already know how to play Canasta and who are willing to try variations of the game, particularly the Samba Rules, Bolivia Rules and Hand and Foot Canasta. Anyone interested in variations to the Canasta game can look at the following web page on the Third Age Trust website.

Training will be provided, but a basic understanding of the normal Canasta game will be needed.

Our u3a activities are risk assessed. If you take part in any group activity you must read the risk assessment.
