Do you wonder how we humans work, our biology our DNA. Or how a steam engine works, how beer is brewed, how planes fly, how medical scanners work ? The science of rocket design and space travel. Are you interested in marine biology, mobile phones, computers, engineering ?

Are you worried about global warming, conservation and alternative energy ? Then read on:-

We follow a programme of discussions and visits to places of interest. Our brief is broadly Scientific: including Natural history, Engineering, Biology, Physics, Electronics, Technology, etc.

Our meeting topics are decided upon by the group members. For discussion we meet at the Beach House 10am-12 noon. Times of visits can vary.

Our u3a activities are risk assessed. If you take part in any group activity you must read the risk assessment.

Members taking part in physical activities are reminded that they do so at their own risk.
