This is a Group which started in March 2026. We are open to more members and play music from different genres. The list of topics below will give an idea of the music that we'll be playing.

7 May 2026Classical Music / Pop music cross-over. Pop songs based on classical pieces or cross-over artists.
4 Jun 2026Music with interesting lyrics where members may never have listened to the words of the song
7 Aug 2026Music with interesting lyrics about inter-generational relationships (e.g. parent-child)
Several sessionsPlaylist from any genre created by a member of the group - each member has a turn
Music with a geographical connection with a quiz
Newly discovered songs via streaming services (e.g. via Spotify, Apple Music), or on foreign travels, etc.
Music from musicals or movies - can be a quiz to name the musical, but also to discuss the musical or movie itself
Classical music that others may not know or that you like
Classical / Jazz cross-over - Artists, composers, etc.
The Great American Songbook.  Composers and different artist singing it, including Rod Stewart, Robbie Williams, Sting, etc, apart from the usual easy-listening/swing music artists
